The Trump administration is seeking to destroy our democratic way of life. The Colorado legislature must lead the way in pushing back against these extremes. This includes areas such as:

• Protecting our people and doctors from the federal government or other states to ensure full and equitable access to health care in all its forms. That includes reproductive health and abortion access.

• Funding the AG's office to push back against all illegal actions and orders

• Instructing the AG's office to establish a task force or other methods so that all subpoenas and judicial warrants from the federal government or other states that seek health care data and/or persons be reviewed before they are complied with. Instruct the AG to seek injunctions against any and all of the above that seek to circumvent Colorado's protection on reproductive freedom

• Strengthen laws that prohibit the sharing of data with the federal government, including regarding the immigration status of our residents.

• Enact laws that prohibit the masking of any law enforcement officers, except in a medical necessity, and require ALL law enforcement (including federal) to wear easily identifiable uniforms, including name and identifying numbers. Authorize the State Patrol and local law enforcement to arrest any individual who does not follow these requirements.
